*EN | TR Aybike Alkan is a PhD student and research assistant in the Department of Sociology at Koç University. She received her BS in Chemical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and earned her MS degree in Industrial Engineering from Koç University. During her master’s studies, she studied the future energy planning of Turkey considering financial and environmental parameters. *EN | TR Burcu Mutlu recently received her Ph.D. in History, Anthropology, and Science, Technology & Society (HASTS) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She was also a research associate in the program in Science, Religion, and Culture (SRC) at Harvard Divinity School. She earned her BA in International Relations and Political Science from Marmara University and her MA in Sociology from Bogazici University.
