Burcu Mutlu recently received her Ph.D. in History, Anthropology, and Science, Technology & Society (HASTS) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She was also a research associate in the program in Science, Religion, and Culture (SRC) at Harvard Divinity School. She earned her BA in International Relations and Political Science from Marmara University and her MA in Sociology from Bogazici University. Her research interests include assisted reproductive technologies (namely IVF, gamete donation, sex selection & PGD), transnational reproduction, technologies of care, feminist STS, and digital STS.
